The end of an era

I saw Star Wars, I saw Star Wars. We went to the Alderwood Theater last night and saw the 12:10am show. It was great, Sean and Tristan waited from about 6 pm, and then Gillian and I met them at the theater and waited from about 10pm. The movie was great, still not up to the standards of the old ones, but miles better than I or II. It's dark, I can see why it got PG-13. There are a few scenes definitely not appropriate for the younger crowd. Our theater didn't have air conditioning so it was about 100 degrees in there by the end of the movie, and I don't think they had all the speakers on, but it was still a fun experience, especially since I don't have work or school to go to today! Still I'm working on about 6 hours of sleep, but that's better than the 3 Sean's brother and sister got before they had to go to school this morning. Oh well, it was worth it! There were plenty of dorks in the audience but not as many as I would have thought, just a few lightsaber and capes, but no complete costumes or anything. The problem is, what is there to look forward to now? For years it's been the next Star Wars, but now there will never be another Star Wars. Kind of sad, really. Go see Stars Wars people.
