Not gonna go as in depth as I would if we were drinking beers/smoking pot and bullshitting, but humankind always has been and always will be reliant on technology.
Whats your defenition of technology?
To me its an improv of fabrication to accomidate a need.
The other day when me and Olivia were bickering and she said I'm too reliant on technology I wanted to slap her out of hypocracy. She's just as reliant on technology. LSD is a technology. It was engineered, it may not have the effect originally intended but its tech. She writes and reads, both product of technology. If you ever use a vehicle of any fashion, bicycle, car, jetpack, etc. you're using technology. Look in a mirror, thats technology. Wipe your ass with anything including a leaf, thats technology.
People in general are always going to be as equally reliant on technology as they've always been, its just the particular stage at which the technology is at varies, and you just don't like electronics.
But look, when electronics become obsolete and the kids of the 2050's are playing with holographic worlds, we're going to be the dinosaurs who still visit livejournal to get our jollies off.
Anyway, you just need to chill the fuck out and not worry so much about shit. The second you're 18 doesn't mean you need to be enrolled in college, in a car, leasing a house, being 5 months pregnant and married, just focus on getting out of high school.
Its like have 3 enemies in your field of view and you've got a mosin nagant with a five round clip. You've got to pull a Vasili and prioritize your targets. Hit the one in the back first because then he couldn't see the two in front getting shot down, and they won't notice the sound. Then shoot the one thats closest to you because he's most likely to get the drop on you, and while the last person in the middle is bewhildered you pull the bolt and squeeze the trigger.
Just prioritize and take things one thing at a time.
