Hot Dog in a Bun Smoking a Cigarette

I saw something fun today...

Today I was sitting at a light waiting for my left turn signal, when I noticed someone walking from the parking lot across the street carrying a sign. I squinted to get a better look at this guy, and noticed that he was dressed up as a hot dog in a bun, and his sign was an advertisment for the Halloween costume store around the corner. Not strange, of course, since people have been dressing up and waving their Halloween signs every Halloween for the past few years... but nevertheless, I found it amusing.

Now, this sighting was humorous, of course, because this guy is in a hot dog suit, waving a sign.. I'm thinking, "Geez, I bet this guy hates his job, considering its damn embarrassing."
Then I try to confirm my belief by attempting to look at the guy's facial expression, but when I go to look at the guy, he wasn't there! So I looked around, and saw that the hot dog had moved over to the another part of the street (out of sight from his boss, I'm sure) and was now sitting behind a big street sign, lighting up a cigarette. He was no longer waving his Halloween store sign, but instead it was thrown on the ground next to him. It was the perfect example of a disgruntled worker, trying to get out of doing their job because it sucks. The funny part, of course, happened to be that this particular guy was an extra large hot dog in a bun with mustard. I LOVED IT. I wish I saw things like that everyday.

Oh, the beauty of everyday living. How I love it.
