Yup. Smells like Sue.
I come bearing a Sue for you guys to look at. In another twist, it's a classic sue. I didn't think I could find someone who'd have nailed most of the classic sue traits and take it seriously. I thought wrong. Here's the horrors for you:

Special Possessions (if any): White, billowy silk dress with gold and copper metal clasps around shoulders, gold and copper belt with gray Sapphires embedded with matching necklace and head chain, gold and copper arm bracelets, gold and copper wrist bracelets, matching gold and copper daggers specially made for her stored under the lower back part of her dress for self defense only, and silver-colored knee-high one-inch heel boots with gray Sapphires embedded in the fabric around the top (This was what her original outfit was going to be before I pointed out to her that it was weird for a Tatooined-dweller. She's since added an outfit that's much more appropriate. But still this just irks me. Oh! And she went on to describe that her character had a "hourglass" body. AKA perfect body. EDIT: Fine. I revised this part of my explanation.)

Annoying Connections To Canon Characters: The hutts and bounty hunters killed her parents. At least it wasn't rape.
Annoying Special Abilities: It's not her abilities that are annoying, it's everything else about her that is.
Other Annoying Traits: She wants to become a senator because of the whole dead parent thing.

The Stardreamer family had been living peacefully in one of the few oasis outside of Mos Entha, trading their home-grown fruits, vegetables, home-spun clothing and livestock for the few comforts needed to survive on Tatooine. Through their many trades, they saved up for a few vaporators and materials to build greenhouses and barns for the food and livestock. The family survived for four generations after wanting to grow food and raise livestock in the conditions of the planet outside of the city. They found one close enough so if trouble arose, all they needed to do was take half an hour's journey to the city for help.
Celio and Celestia were coming back from the city with goods they purchased from Mos Entha to find their parents murdered. A bounty hunter hired from one of the many Hutt families of the planet killed them for food, water and one of the better Eopie mounts of the family herd. A protocol droid their father Rangi purchased in Bestine saw the carnage while fooling the bounty hunter with faulty circuitry. The Stardreamer children rode into Mos Entha to report the tragedy and get help. But, the police force was paid by the Hutts to not help the teenager and child. The Stardreamer parents were an example to any family that wished not to reason with the Hutts for a fraction of their profits for 'protection' against the various evils of the planet.
Celestia, being 8 at the time, grew up with friends of the family in the city while her older brother Celio kept the family business going with paid protection from the Hutts. She learned all there was to know about the injustices brought onto people from the Hutts' actions and the locals, vowing that she would be the voice for those that would not be heard. The family friends helped Celestia to gain a proper education, paying for it all up front and letting Celio pay them back slowly and when he could. Receiving all the advice and wisdom she could learn from passing travelers coming from Coruscant and the New Republic, she decided to go to Coruscant and try her luck at becoming a Senator to help the unheard voices be heard by important officials. Leaving Tatooine with the same protocol droid used by her parents and enough credits from the family friends and her brother, she set out for Coruscant to be made a senator to help wrong the injustices of the universe.
Since I called her upon the Sue-ness of her character, she's altered it SLIGHTLY. AKA she's taken all the "sue terminology" out and replaced it with terms that still mean the same thing but doesn't scream "sue" outright and she's made some modifications to the outfit. But still, it's irritating.
