note: also, Ginny may possibly be a bit of a mary sue in this fic, but I’m not sure. Thoughts?

Other Annoying Traits: is slightly ‘evil’ and ‘dark’, and everybody loves her. Gives evil looks. Is one of the best players on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team.
The author says Of course Draco's a bit OOC. Duh. Like he'd really sleep with Ginny in the canon. Plus, I don't want him acting like a total bastard. Geez.
Please include a small sample of the worst of this story:
And suddenly Alison was off. She did a steep dive. The Slytherin seeker mirrored her, but she was so fast. The girl darted in and out of players as she chased the snitch. The Slytherin boy was now neck and neck with her. He elbowed the girl so hard she nearly lost her seat.
Draco was on his feet before he even knew what he was doing. "HEY!"
Snape pulled him back down. "What IS the matter with you?"
Draco didn't even think. The words just came out. "Like I'm really gonna let that git hit my daughter like that and not say a word."
Everyone looked at him in shock. Oh hell. Well, he'd managed to keep their secret for two agonizing weeks. Draco looked back to the game, ignoring their stares. Only Dumbledore and Snape had not seemed greatly shocked by his admission. Were they all just blind? It was so obvious she was his. But even more shocking was the sudden realization that be wanted her to be.
He watched with pride as his daughter's fingers closed around the snitch. She was good. Damn good. And then that Slytherin git knocked her off her broom in a fit of anger.
"ALISON!"
Draco was already running. He didn't think he'd ever made it to another spot so fast without apparating. He swore he heard McGonagall scream when he jumped out of the teachers' box. He did a lightening charm on himself to slow his fall and hit the ground running. He was rushing across the field with his black cloak flying out behind him. Everyone was watching in shock. He got to her even before Madam Pomfrey did.
Draco skidded on his knees in the grass next to her. "Alison?"
"What are you doing?"
"Are you all right?"
"Like I've never been knocked off my broom before."
"But you were so high up..."
"You were worried about me?" She was grinning like a maniac.
He scowled.
"You were." Her grin widened. "That's so cool. Two weeks and I've already got you acting like you've been a dad forever. Go me."
He smirked at her and brushed some hair off her forehead. "Might have accidentally announced our relationship to the teachers' box."
"S'ok. Everyone besides Snape and Dumbledore would have gotten it eventually. They are professors. Most of them are not complete dolts. Or what is it that Snape calls the students..."
"Dunderheads."
She giggled. "Yes. Dunderheads."
He chuckled.
"Professor Malfoy, would you mind?" Madam Pomfrey huffed.
The rest of the Gryffindor team had landed, along with the Slytherins.
"Actually, I would mind, Madam Pomfrey. I want to make sure you take excellent care of my daughter."
"D-daughter?" Poppy stuttered in shock.
Kelly and Lori exchanged a look. As did most of the Gryffindor team and the Slytherins.
Draco pointed at the Slytherin seeker rather menacingly. "You're rather lucky I'm an adult and I have control over myself, but if you EVER take a cheap shot like that at my daughter again, I just might forget my manners."
"Let's bring Professor Snape."
"What?!" He finally looked up at her.
"He doesn't have anywhere to go, does he? He's practically like your father. I hate for him to spend Christmas alone."
"Alison, Professor Snape LIKES spending time alone."
"But he's technically my other grandpa. I want him about."
"Other grandpa?"
"You think of him in fatherly terms, do you not?"
"Well, I suppose..."
"You learned more from him that anyone else..."
"Well, yes...."
"So what's the issue here? You like him. I like him. I thought we agreed to hell with what everyone else thinks?"
Draco was actually gaping at her. "You... like.. Professor Snape that well then?"
"Of course I like him. He's brilliant. Albeit a bit surly, but still quite brilliant."
Draco could hardly wait to tell Severus that. The girl considered him a grandparent. She liked him because he was brilliant.
"You'll ask him, won't you?"
"He'll say no."
"But you will ask him?"
"Fine. I'll ask."
"You and Ginny..."
"Had sex." Alison said loudly. "And I am the result of the blessed union."
It was rather unfortunate that Molly Weasley had chosen that particular moment to walk in. She looked about ready to blow. She was glaring menacingly at Draco.
"He didn't know, grandmum. Don't be mad at him. Mum never told him." Her voice broke a bit. "She only told me when I asked."
Draco brow furrowed. Why in the hell was he suddenly feeling like someone had punched him right in the center of his chest at that tone in Alison's voice? He wrapped an arm around her and did something he had never done to anyone ever. He gave her a reassuring kiss on her temple. Why did this come so naturally with her? Was it because she was his? Or was it because she was also the child of the girl that still appeared behind his eyelids when he tried to sleep at night? He could deny all he wanted, but as much as it infuriated him, he still thought about Ginny after so many years. It was the first pure thing he'd ever owned for a time.
She had made him not so evil in his eyes because of the wonder in hers. Because she had dared to try and make him see.
Molly's face softened at the way Draco Malfoy was touching her granddaughter. But how could you not like Alison? Now the girl's dark streak was making a bit of sense. Alison had always had a bit of the wicked to her.
"Well." Molly said. "Welcome to my home."
