I just realized that whatever happens in TV Land, I don't think anything will ever be more utterly emotionally destroying me than the attack on Lucy & Carter and then Lucy's death on er. Even the New Who S2 finale doesn't beat that. Up to this day I don't think I will ever be able to watch that episode again. Of course, that show chewed me up and spit me out all the time - anyone remember when Dr. Greene got beaten up? That old lady getting raped? And please let's not talk about Doctor Romano-Poo - I knew what was going to happen with his arm, and I still screamed when it happened. So far the one and only time I actually *screamed* when something happened in a show. And I recently re-watched the episode where he died, and... Yeah. It's a big surprise I'm not in therapy because of er. Of course, should anything ever happen to a certain person, I might change my mind.
