Y Halo Thar. I obviously don't feel the LJ Vibes right now. Forgive me.
How's everyone doing then? My internet connection has decided to fuck me over (in the unpleasant way), so I'm not exactly up to everything that's going on. Only news I can offer is that I passed my thesis with an Average Good, which means I passed my diploma with a Good Average. So I'm, like, looking for a job now. Anyone got a job for me? And as so many (no, really - twelve people so far) have asked if they can read my thesis, I'll upload it during the next few days. Downside is that it's in German, duh.
Speaking of Terry, I stumbled over a little piece from "Carpe Jugulum" today, which pretty much sums up my feelings on the matter:
"[Agnes] was not, herself, hugely in favour of motherhood in general. Obviously it was necessary, but it wasn't exactly difficult. Even cats managed it. But women acted as if they'd been given a medal that entitled them to boss people around. It was as if, just because they'd got the label which said 'mother', everyone else got a tiny part of the label that said 'child'..."
Concerning "Doctor Who", just two things:
