You know, I still adore this fic, and I love you for writing Flatliners. It's so short and sweet and appropriate for all the characters, and it's made me have so many interesting thoughts about what Dave going home with Nelson might entail. <3
At the same time I hate you because no one else writes Flatliners. ;___; Why? It's such a great pairing....
Thank you so much for your comment, it made me happy &hearts
I don't get the lack of Flatliners slash either - I searched high and low back when I wrote the two stories, and there'as nothing. Please tell me you've got something! Honestly, everyone I know who knows this movie thinks they're in love, so it makes no sense nobody writes about it.
Aww, I'm glad :D And I know, it seems so obvious in the movie, there's so many little looks and interactions and Dave smashing the window of his truck in panic when he could really just untie the back (silly Dave. <3) And someone told me Joel Schumacher is gay?
Yes! YES! Or when they sit together in the truck, before Nelson sees Billy for the first time, and Dave is all caring and wrapping him up in the blanket and Nelson just eats. it. up.
Joel Schumacher is gay? I didn't know that, but hey, awesome! Makes it even less likely they didn't know exactly what they were doing ;)
*jaw drops* I'm not sure I'll ever have a firstborn, so what else would you like? My soul, perhaps? Sorry, but I have been waiting for this for three years or so... *weeps tears of joy*
Oh yes <3. And Nelson's whole "I don't want to be alone right now", and even the first damn scene they have together when Dave's all pissed off about being suspended.... they're so delicious together. <3
So says wikipedia! Which makes me feel much less guilty for seeing all the homoerotic subtext in his movies. *coughphonesexboothcough*
Awwwww <3 you're so sweet. :D I'm just happy to have them read, honestly. I write such damn tiny fandoms (mostly involving Kiefer Sutherland, for some strange reason. <3 Dark City).
Yessssss!! Or, or, when he's going to put himself under and calls Dave is all meeeeeep when it's Rachel instead and "Tell Dave I love him - tell everyone I'm sorry" *heart breaks*
Which makes me feel much less guilty for seeing all the homoerotic subtext in his movies.
*g*
Ooh, does this mean you know The Brotherhood Of Justice? Because I love him so in this movie, and practically no one knows it...
Aww, I just looked again at the bunch of screencaps I made for the graphics journal of my BFF and me here. Maybe I should try myself at some slashing icons again, these days I actually know how to use my graphics programme *lol*
It actually took me a couple of times to register that they were in -Dave's- apartment and not Rachel's, and of COURSE he'd call Dave over the "supposed" love interest.
Brotherhood of Justice? *checks* No but holy shit I'm all over that like white on rice, if I can find it. I adore his older stuff, but up in Canada I can't get netflix (grr) so obscure movies are a pain. I finally ordered the last used copy of Flashback on DVD off Amazon the other day. :( That sounds like an amazingly slashable move. :D (but then again, I managed to slash The Sentinel, so....)
Mmmmm slashing icons. Do it. *goes to look at caps*
I just watched the movie again last night (gosh, Kiefer is beautiful), and it turns he doesn't even speak of the others. He just says "Tell Dave I'm sorry" XD Oh my.
And that scene where he turns up at Dave's door because he doesn't want to be alone &hearts Btw, we never find out how they met. That might be a fic idea! I wish I had my writing mojo back...
I could try and copy my DVD for you? It's a really fun movie to watch. Keanu & Kiefer have tons of FoeYay.

Was after reading your Triptychon. <3
I did a slightly longer one where Dave gets haunted by visions of Nelson, and its sequel
And then... gratuitous pwp missing scene from the movie of sex in Dave's truck. *blush*
They're a hard NC17. *blushes more*
