Boy, am I glad this World Cup thing is over. I like my normalcy, thank you very much.
So. The important bit. Doctor Who. Don't worry, not spoilery if you've seen the trailer.
* First of all: I love Jackie. So much. There should be tons of Jackie fic out there, because she deserves it. SO MUCH. And the ending for her is the most beautiful thing ever (Didn't I say it would be like that? Feels so good to be right!), I was crying tears of joy for them. Thanks to the man for making the right decision. He's going to be so happy now.
* Mickey. Man, but he has grown, hasn't he? From the coward boy of the first eppies to a strong, intelligent man. This is one of the things I love about the doctor - he brings out the true self. I don't think he changes people, I think it's more that by being with him, people get stripped to the core and reveal their true self, good or bad. And Mickey - so incredibly good and brave. On that note: he and Rose are like siblings these days, okay? Because Mickey has his boyfriend. I refuse to believe anything else.
* The war? OMG. I knew about the first enemy, but when the second one was revealed - OMG. OMG.
* David Tennant can reduce me to tears with one look. And when David Tennant cries, it breaks my heart. Not that this is news.
* Oh Rose, love. I am so happy it turned out like I thought it would, because it is as perfect as it could be under the circumstances.
Much to do, much to do today! Also Keanu tomorrow and BBQ on Wednesday. Yay! Lazy week!
