Ooh, you got "The Silly Side of Sherlock Holmes"? How was it? I've heard of it, and seen it in shops in passing. It looked quite funny.

Yup, Pers gave it to me as a birthday pressie :) It's extremely funny, really good.

How did you like Vernon God Little? That book has been on MTBR for ages...

Oh, gotta start my own list for this year!

I liked it a lot. Not brilliant, but a good read. The slang was kinda annoying at times, and I just don't understand why he never speaks up, but apart from that I liked it well.

Yeah, do!

It's here: http://www.livejournal.com/users/persikay/124249.html

Uhm, but so far there's not much on it, lol. The one from last year is a tad longer. http://www.livejournal.com/users/persikay/124545.html

Man, I only have read one book so far ... and even that is a lie cause I am missing about a 100 pages. Too much stress here right now to concentrate on reading at the moment but tomorrow in the train I'll hopefully finish it.

And I "only" read 43 books last year. Although that is double as much as 2004 :)

Well, I had some time, and the books weren't that long. And two I had already started last year.

You're getting there ;) And I'll doubt I'll read as much this year, what with the exams and everything...

Soon my list for 2006 isn't lying anymore. *lol* Only a handful of pages to go. And then I need to get hold of new Lynley's. Waaah. What do I do when I am all through with them? :(

I am pretty sure I won't read 43 books again. Because I always have some weeks where I just cannot read a book and well, I don't have the challenge motivation this year ;) Which in a way is also a good thing ...

Wait with baited breath for the next one?

*sigh* 2005 was a good book year!

I can't believe you're already on book 24! I'm only on 15...

I'm on a roll :) Honestly, there are some pretty short ones between them. And the first two got dragged over from last year. But I do hope I'll get the 100 this year. Last years it was just 80 something.

I liked "Road To Mars", but the GBD was really, REALLY great. Very funny and touching and personal. The stuff about George made me cry.

Aww yeah! And did you know he speaks Rincewind in the Pratchett video game? I really want that!

No university anymore. Plus regular train rides ;)

I LOVE "Herr Der Diebe", huge fan of the movie/the book. Haven't read anything else by her, so far I've been wary. Don't think I'll like the other stuff much. Maybe will try the Ink-Stuff, though.

Yeah, I had that one in my hands a few times! Didn't buy it so far, but have it on my mental list :)
