[Feeling
busy]

1. Go to the Elouai doll maker.
2. Make an ordinary doll of yourself and save it.
3. Take that doll and, leaving a couple things (nose, eyebrows, whatever) the same, Mary Sue yourself. Make the most blatant Mary Sue you can conceive.
4. Post "Before" and "After" in your LJ. Bonus points if your Sue has a backstory of some sort.

I think I failed my Mary Sue, I don't quite think she is blatant enough. I just didn't have the heart to make her too Sue-ish. Oh, and no back-story ;) Anyway, here they are:

In case you didn't realize, the Mary Sue is the one on the right ;)

Finished "Monstrous Regiment" last night, and oh, how do I love it?! I fell in love with Mal at once. Gosh *fans self* I felt the underlying sexual tension between Mal and Polly was very, very strong, and although I do admit I was disappointed at the revelation in the end (because it would have been so nice to have had one guy who was really cool about it all), I actually did a bit of research during the last hour, and it seems like Mal/Polly is one of the most beloved Discworld pairings :) Huzzah! Some great stories. Never thought I'd read FemSlash one day... But trust Terry to change that ;) On that note: two canon lesbian pairings in one book (well, I just assume that M&P are canon, it's too strong - even unspoken - not to be), how cool is that man?
