stupid museums
on sunday i harassed billy into going to s.f. early to see the frida kahlo exhibit at the museum of modern art. i was super excited. we got there at about 650 ish (the musem closes at 745) and the exhibition was sold out! i was pretty pissed since i wanted to see it with billy instead of by myself and didnt think ahead to buy tickets. so, wednesday (my only other day off for this week) i rode bart up to try again....totally forgetting that moma is closed on wedesdays!!! then just now i went to buy tickets for tommorrow, which is the LAST FRIGGIN DAY of the show and its sold out! i refuse to believe that getting screwed out of seeing her work irl is my fault or coincidence. its got to be fate or something. i didnt get to see mary cassatt at the legion of honor either. i just looked at the calendars for moma, the legion, the de young and the asian art museum and none of them have anything good comming up. ive been screaming argh like charlie brown for like 2 weeks cuz of this crap.
