Southern Oaks Week 7: Ashmore
It's a cover that greets you back to Southern Oaks again!
We start off the week with Griff quitting his Captain Hero job in the law enforcement because according to the BACC rules I am following, there can only be 1 captain hero in town and since Terrence Brown has that LTW I won't let Griff here interfere with him fullfilling it.
The Ashmore household seemed about to start an amazing week until...
Right after he woohooed with Joanna, Griff's want panel filled with thoughts of this townie called Nikki. What had me even more surprised was the fact that he only has one bolt with her as opposed to the two bolts he has with his wife.
Julia is back to flirting with Seth again after starting Monday with all wants having to do with him.
ACR happened and now Seth is most definitely cheating on his wife.
Eww gross! Right after Seth left, Julia rolled wants about his father! o_O Also, check out her attraction score panel...another girl with 3-bolts for Terrence Brown!
At least Julia still takes care of her niece whenever she's not helping someone cheat on his wife.
After two whole days of rolling wants about her, I finally caved in and had Griff invite Nikki over. So...now, the girl who's going out with a cheater has a sister who's being cheated on. Hold on because the story's about to get a lot more complicated than this.
Lucy's first birthday rolled around! I'm excited to see how this little one will turn out to be. See Seth over there? Get used to him, because he walked by the lot and invited himself in almost everyday I played this household.
There is absolutely no doubt at all the Lucy is Griff's little girl. She looks so much like him!
Joanna is best friends with Arianna so she called her over to babysit little Lucy so that she and Julia could open up their business.
Take note, the grass has changed :) I went on a download spree and I managed to find darker grass for the whole neighbourhood, an addition which I'm very happy to have in my game!
At the club, Joanna and Julia opened up a new side room with a poker table. Poker proved to be very popular with the residents of Southern Oaks!
Julia and Joanna take it in shifts operating the DJ booth and bar though Joanna is most definitely the better DJ.
Uh oh! That is taking customer interaction a bit too seriously! Updating my earlier sentence...now, the girl who's going out with a cheater has a sister who's cheating and being cheated on.
I hope that's JUICE you ordered Robin!
New attractions continue to be added to the club such as the new photobooth which I absolutely adore :3
Nikki and Terrence were quick to check out the new addition! That's it for 'Club Ash'. Joanna and Julia left the club at Rank 6.
I think this must be one of the hardest businesses I've operated so far. It takes ages for the customers so earn a star!
Back at home, Lucy's being taught the essential toddler skills.
Wait, what!?? :O Luckily it was just a light kiss and that was it.
Joanna is a pleasure sim and her aspiration was quite low so I granted her one wish to visit a community lot. She ended up visiting Southern Oaks memorial park where she spent some time fishing with Leo Rue and then playing games with best friend Robin Kells.
Seth is back. I don't approve. Why oh why!? I don't like this couple at all mostly because of the fact that I hate that Seth's doing this to poor Jade! :(
Random townie who is quite pretty though her orange eyes do look a bit creepy. However, I'm sure that given a make-over she will be very pretty. Who knows, maybe someday she'll be a Southern Oaks resident herself!
Trying to boost Joanna's aspiration again, I let her throw a party. It was a great party but not a roof raiser.
Griff found a job in the business career track which is now unlocked to any sim thanks to Jack becoming a Business Tycoon in the last update.
Maybe I should have named Julia Juliet instead since Romeo here is always sneaking in to come visit her.
I've a feeling that Southern Oaks is heading for another break-up though with whom I do not know.
Lucy had her birthday and grew up into the sweetest kid ever!
She immediately ran over to introduce herself to Kyle and Rachel the minute she spotted them walking by her house.
I imagine she must be discussing Kyle's impromptu keg party and the repercussions of sneaking out at night. I hope she doesn't get any ideas for when she grows up!
For now Lucy's the nice sweet girl who runs out to give her father a hug when he gets home from work. Griff deserves this one as well because he got his first promotion in the business career.

Everyone in town is still living off Sam's bakery, fruit from trees and fish from ponds.
Just as Lucy rolled a wish for the family to expand, Julia did :p Turns out her shenanigans with Seth Norbury have given their result.
Griff did not roll any wants for the townie again and is finally back to rolling wants directed towards his wife. ACR had them try for a baby but there was no lullaby.
Carl found out about Julia's pregnancy and seems quite plesed to know that the baby is not his.
That's all for this update. I wonder what will happen to Seth/Jade/Julia in the next rotation?
