Elwood Rose Week 7: Smith IV
Jake Smith rented out one of the appartments on the ground floor. It wasn't much but he was finally out on his own and ready to start his next stage in life.
At work he earned a promotion to Campaign Manager (Rank 4 Politics) bringing him one step closer to reaching his lifetime wish of becoming Mayor of Elwood Rose.
His apartment only had minimal furniture and so he hung a couple of silly snaps he had taken in Club Night's photobooth in order to liven the place up a bit.
He often brought co-workers home with him. Living in an apartment all by himself had its perks.
Annabelle Winter dropped by to visit him and suggested that he get in touch with her older sister Olivia. Jake and Olivia had been teenage sweethearts afterall.
Toffe, the puppy Jake bought from the Elwoods, grew up and (he/she? I forgot xD) looks exactly like Duchess (the mother).
Jake did take Annabelle's advice and he contacted Olivia who seemed more than happy to see him.
Also, they have matching underwear! haha xD
But Jake still couldn't make up his mind between Olivia and Lyla.
The latter ended up solving his dilemma when she went back to seeing his younger brother Ashton.
"What do you think Toffee? Shall I ask her to marry me?"
"Woof!"
And with that affirmation, Jake took Olivia out on a date at Michelle's Restaurant.
He proposed and Olivia said yes.
After that they walked to Mistletoe Park and proceeded to snog each other senseless.
Right in the middle of the road! Yup...it's not like they can get runover by a car any minute.
Forget about the taxi honking for you to get off the road...you have all the time in the world!
Eventually they headed inside the lodge and proceeded to strip down to their underwear in front of the coffee server, thank god there were no other customers around!
Back at home Jake earns another promotion. He is now an official City Council Member.
We end the update with Toffee looking out the window. I never knew dogs could climb upon the ledge like that!
