It has been so long since I've posted! I am working on a couple of things and will post them soon.
Work has kept me pretty busy, I have a completely different set of job responsibilities than in the past. I love what I do. Besides the learning curve I have been traveling. Just in 2008 I've been to Baltimore, Philadelphia, Tulum, Mexico (who knew, Tulum is on the danger list for blood donations, so I can't donate blood until next Feb.) Atlanta and Dallas. I was in Dallas earlier this week--the temperatures were above 100 degrees, but the humidity was nothing compared to the Tampa area.
Meredith and I are going to GA in a couple of weeks to look at places. I have decided to rent instead of buy right away. By mid September I will make the move to north Georgia.
I do have to brag a little. My son-in-law has been promoted to lieutenant in the fire department. His parents and I went to a ceremony, which was part of the city council meeting a couple of weeks ago and watched as he took the oath and Meredith pinned his new badge on.
