Da plan, da plan, ...
So having finally achieved full caffeine levels ... I realized that I haven't shared the full scope of the project(s) on my home.
Earlier, I had a new toilet installed in the top floor bathroom, had the first floor bathroom sink repaired and replaced the garbage deposal in the basement kitchen.
And last week I had all my electrical outlets and lights repaired, all my outlets converted to three prongs, added light switches and outlets to places where it (finally!) made sense, and added solar lights to the outside of the house. The electricians will return later this month to finish installing several new light fixtures including a new ceiling fan for the back porch on the first floor.
This week we are putting a new floor in the first floor bathroom w/ ceramic tile, repairing the front walkway and adding handrails(!), repairing (and painting) ceilings in the living room, bedroom, upper stairs hallway, and office.
Later ... some much much later ... I need to replace the privacy fence, paint the rear exterior of the house, change out all the windows (eventually) and redo the top floor bathroom. And the entire top floor, first floor hallway and kitchen needs painting. I also need to repair my Ikea closet fixtures. And at some point I need to price out adding solar panels and enclosing my side porch.
My ultimate dream is to move the kitchen to the back porch and install a hot tub under my front porch -- however unless a friend or two wins the lottery ... it aint happening anytime soon.
Ah, homeownership ... aint it grand?
