Jen at Drak.net just explained that the reason she did not alert all users about the server move was because the move was not considered catastrophic.
Well lessee ...
one site was completely inaccessible
one site missing parts of its database
one site with a database completely missing
two sites with several php files overwritten with core messages
which means
I have had to upload or edit php files as they fail
reload all files I modified unknowingly during a server move
send in trouble tickets to get databases reloaded
spend now four days trouble shooting problems
And the missing database means that my school's bulletin board is kaput
So currently four out of fives sites hit and hit hard ... haven't had a chance to check on the fifth one yet ....
so tell me ... exactly when does it get catastrophic?
