Bless you Mercury, you heard and answered my prayers
I am exhausted ...but ... I managed to get the little sucker to archive & reinstall 10.3 and got it running again. I am backing up outright copying my music and images to the external drive as I type.
Once that is done, I am going back to bed. When I get up, I am driving to Bethesda and buying my own copy of 10.4 since I have so many apps that require it to run at all. I will also purchase disk warrior while I am at it.
