Getting Clearer on the Part of Me I Show to the World
As part of the Reflections book study, I've been working on mission statements for all my roles. I thought it might be of interest if I shared the mission statements for my public roles. Consider each one as a work in progress.
EnjoyTeacher: I want to be able to assist my students on their journey, by providing real guidance based on my experiences and knowledge. I want to inspire my students to allow the divine to be a presence in their lives, to feel it working, and recognize its presence in all of creation. I want to capture and express for my students the wonder of the present moment, and expand it to include all of what is possible and imaginable in a lifetime or more. I want to rock their world! Make it bigger, brighter, more real and alive than they ever dreamed possible.
Priestess: I want to engage in the spiritual and magical currents of life and work with the greater than human connections to the realm of humanity. I want my life to be an act of devotion to the gods. I want my work as a priestess to touch the hearts of all I serve.
Writer: I want to express the joy, sweetness and beauty of my life in all its complexity and simplicity. I want to discover a way to express all the creativity, experience and vision within me. I want to allow the divine to express itself through me. I want to initiate dialog and build community with people who share my viewpoint. I also want to teach, engage and inspire people of varying viewpoints to join in the global dialog concerning social, economic and political justice.
