(no subject)
The internet is running again, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalellujah! The staff room is filling up really quickly of course.
So got my girls yesterday - 5 of the cutest kids ever (not that anyone cares BUT: Emma, Caroline, Izzy, Ellie - Maddie Lobrano's little sis [now I've had them both, funniness], and Josie). Except Emma is quite a handful and I have no clue how we've managed to keep her in line this long and no idea how much longer it'll last. She's going to be our little 'project' I think. But overall she's pretty lovable, Caroline was crying last night and she made her a nice picture to feel better, that's our silver lining, right? And then I read her (Caroline) some Winnie the Pooh and she fell asleep in the middle and that was just too cute. Thanks again Ojo!
I dunno, Laura's great and very energetic and really cool and I love living with her, but every day I miss Jehn more and more. I have her bed and that's just weird and I have no clue how to deal with these girls. People might think that I do but no. And she did and I need her. Blah blah I should call.
Man some of the kiddies GREW! Carleela and Liz and Steph, Corinne is totally gorgeous. She always was but now she's a GROWN UP gorgeous. Lydia Post got tall and thin and Katherine Friar has HIPS and she's all boys boys boys (first question to me = "when's our first social?"). Insane! Rae Ortega is TALLER THAN ME! And Hannah Rose Schonwald is going to be a freshman in HS! Complex? I think so.
So tonight I'm off and Ojo's on duty which means, I think, that we'll be chillin. I'm excited, lodge time with Ojo is a great thing. I don't call her 'Ojo' in speech anymore though, it's kind of weird, every time I try to it just sounds funny so it never makes it out of my mouth. So anyhoo I hope she reads this before this evening, but she probably won't. But if she does, Ojo, we should have another midnight-type chat. Except this'll be a 1AM chat now (no breaking cerfew anymore), close enough.
It's hot and it is muggy and I'm wearing a tanktop and everybody's making fun of my tan line. That's all right, I think it's funny too. But the showers are broken, BOTH OF THEM.
Wednesday is my first day off. I'm not sure if I'm ready for the concept.
I have 10 bagillion burises all over the place and now clue where from, they don't even hurt. No scratchy fingers just yet though.
Am loving the stereo system in the staff room, we like to use it for our own purposes at ropes.
