5. It just kinda grows... ^^;;; Uhmn, there was a year my grandpa had given me $10,000 for Christmas... and my parents let me spend it however I wanted. So after the initial manga splurge (and buying a PS2 and some games and junk), I started to get $100 - $200 worth of manga every month. That probably helped. Then I met Nam... and when the economy was a little bit better, we had money to splurge on luxury items, like manga. So yeah. Grandpa + Boyfriend = manga fuckload.
I don't think my backlog is actually that big. >.>;; I'm not entirely sure though, since I don't tend to set unread manga to a special place. Off the top of my head... I can think of about 5 volumes that I know I haven't read. If you include Nam's manga series that I don't have much interest in reading (Prince of Tennis, Naruto) then that number goes up a little.
Maybe I'll try to re-read my entire collection. Organize them on some kind of rating scale... maybe make some pie charts... :B */organization geekdom*
