Of Boredom and Pointless Crap + More Info on Doujin Scanning
For starters, surely you all remember my doujinshi poll? ( http://maryohki.livejournal.com/166428.html) It's still open for voting, but here's a list of what's going to get scanned so far based on the results, in order of priority:
1. both my Austria x Hungary books
2. at least one out of 3 of my Sweden x Finland books
3. France x UK (1)
4. Sirius x Remus (1)
5. Tyki x Allen (1)
6. Yozak x Murata (1)
7. one of my 5 or so Kanda x Allen
8. Marik x Malik (1)
9. the cover of my Count x Albert
Here's some notes on those:
1. My Austria x Hungary doujin are just completely adorable fluff, and I'm sure they won't disappoint. I'm especially hoping someone will translate them for me~ They'll also go up in the APH community, since that will make them more likely to get translated by someone.
2. Just letting you know, all 3 of my SuFin doujinshi are delicious, smutty, NC-17 books. I'll scan the covers of them and let people interested in SuFin smut comment to me whether they want just one of them, two, or all three, and which ones they want. I'd personally recommend the two that I bought from thelittlenook over the first one that I got, but it'll be up to you guys based on a cover scan and a short synopsis of them by me, and note I'll be guessing at plot, since I do not know Japanese.
3. I only own one France x UK doujin, and it's really nice. It's mostly just fluff with 3 pages of moderately explicit smut at the end in a sort of epilogue. If enough people want to see it, but don't want the sex, I'd be willing to send a version with those last 3 or so pages omitted to those people, so let me know.
4. I only own one Sirius x Remus doujinshi, and it's also NC-17. It's really well done and has its cute moments, too, though. I'm sure my SiriRemi fan friends will like it.
5. I own two Tyki x Allen doujinshi, but one is a lot better than the other, and they're both smut. I only got 3 votes for Tyki/Allen, so unless I get more spare time than I'd anticipated, I'll only be scanning the one that involves rape in the forest. It's possibly my favorite out of all my smut doujinshi, so that's one for the Tyki x Allen fans to look forward to.
6. I own two Yozak x Murata doujin, and they're both pretty mild. One of them is borderline gen, and the other is fluffy and cute. It has a sort of a sex scene, but it's nothing too major and I wouldn't think it'd bother anyone. The one I'll be scanning is called Black Beauty. It's quite nice. I only am even considering scanning my good doujinshi, after all, though.
7. I own a ton of Kanda x Allen doujin, but since the demand is low, I'll only do one. I'll post covers and information on them and let anyone interested in them decide which one they want me to scan.
8. I only have one Marik x Malik. It's not too dirty IIRC (haven't looked at it in a while), and the art is gorgeous.
9. No one voted for Count x Albert, but I absolutely love the cover, so I'm scanning it regardless. If you see the cover and decide you want to see the rest, let me know and I'll consider it. It's smutty, but not overly graphic.
I...really need to stop with the PVC figures. As most of you know, I preordered Black Rock Shooter (http://www.toyslogic.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=588_291_1512&products_id=8308).
Oh, on topic of figures, my maid!Saber shipped~
Money saving is going pretty decent as far as not wasting it on little things. I should be able to get my external hard drive pretty soon.
Also I'm really trying to kick my ass into gear on the weight loss. For a while I lost my will to do anything besides sleep and use the computer, so I'm afraid to check the scale, but I'm not going to be a loser like that anymore. I'm serious now. Anyone got any helpful advice on that?
