DAY 5 & 6 Kyoto 2nd and 3rd January 2015

We went to Kyoto on these two days and it's snowing!!! heavily~ first time in my life expeience this kind of snow ureshii!!! First we opted to go to Kinkaku-ji. Though I'm telling you in order to visit Kyoto... 2 day-4 days are still not enough! So much interesting place to go to and so many things to see but not enough time!

For this particular Kinkaku-ji picture I have to squeaze through a crowd to take the picture. There's just so many people coming here despite it being winter!

Love the view on this. The island, the white snow~ it's so pretty! Then while we're taking pictures we met this nice Obaachan and her daughter. She's the one who initiated conversation with us! She keep saying sugoi! sugoi! because we came from hot country and also ask us whether the coat is our own and it will be a waste after this since we can't use it. But then she answered herself "Ah demo you can make it as futon yes~ yes~" haha obaachan kawaii! then she asked her daughter to take picture of her with us with their camera and of course I wouldn't let go of this chance and take picture with them as well. When we're about to depart she said "Minna kawaii ne~" then I said "Obaachan mo yasahii ne.. arigatou gozaimasu!" :DDDD

A nice view of both Kinkaku-ji and Ginkaku-ji that I manage to capture~ I especially love the Kinkaku-ji picture one <3

It was so cold the water is almost frozen over. and the 2nd picture is taken from the top of the hill getting a nice view of the town nearby.

So next when we went out of Ginkakuji we decided to take a different path than the tourist one coz it was so crowded going down the slope! We don't regret at all! We unknowingly go through some beautiful area of residential area heading towards the famous Philosopher path!!

Here's some of the pictures of the beautiful residential area. I want to live here!!! Then we found a ryokan and quickly took the available leaflet for future plan! Seriously it was such a nice place I'm considering moving immdiately XD

Beautiful sun through the houses <33

Then on our way I saw this MESMERIZING landscape belong to a pivate house! and oh my god it was so gorgeous!!!!!! I can't stop taking pictures of it! seriously one I put up there is just one of the many XD then the second picture... earlier in our trip I asked my sister where do all cat go in this cold weather... well I get my answer here! hahaha

Then as we are nearing to the end of our route around the shrine area we met 3 beautiful japanese girls in kimono so of course we asked to take pictures with them. The one who took this picture is the boyfriend of one of the girls and he said ahhh he wanted to be in the picture as well! XDD

Lastly we went to the old train track to end our journey of the day. However this area definitely need to be visit during Spring or Autumn where the view is much more magnificent.
This is a picture of the place I found on the net if you go here during Autumn

So pretty rite?? and apparently it's also famous for a good view of sunset~ oh well maybe another trip is due for us in different season XD

So up until here and next is the last day of our trip to Kobe :(
