Just a piece of my thoughts about KAT-TUN's tour and KAT-TUN now
Hey! I'm here again~ although I'm not that busy now but still there's some need to be settled before graduation.
That aside~ I just felt I need to write it down coz it has been on my mind KAT-TUN's tour no koto~
We all know everyone in KT fandom now are getting pretty anxious as there is no announcement about KAT-TUN's 2013 tour and its already May! I am too~ but the announcement of NEWS summer's tour few days ago and a talk with my sister who is a NEWS's fan just make realize something and be calm and wait for KAT-TUN's tour announcement. Why you ask?
Well its started with me telling my sister that NEWS will have a summer tour(she was at work) and the dates have been announced. Instead of being happy she asked me
"How many dates?"
I said "12 dates" and
she said "that's not a tour that's just a fill-in-dates for any date that is not occupied by other favourite JE artist like K8 and Arashi. You'll just see the other dates will be occupied by them and the left over were given to the others."
I asked her why she said that and she said because it happened before in 2010.
You see she is now kinda bitter with NEWS for not fighting hard for their fans altho they love their fans. The evidence is the lack of singles, tours or any group work at all. Because they don't push and pester JE for it. As we all know right now it is very oppressive in JE so they just concentrated on the fav group and idol to win. So my sister said with the announcement of so called tour dates means once again NEWS just accept whatever it was given to them as long as there is something to give to their fans. She said that was lame. If you want to give something, give it all out not just a little bit here and a little bit there. Fans waited for so long~ mitai na...
With that said I thoughts wow KAT-TUN must be working really hard to win their rights and fight to perform and produce single regularly. They must have pestered JE for it to no end XD. I mean so far since their debut, their total release single in a year is still stable at least 3 or 4 singles per year and with solo PV, making, gakuya corner XD as well as tour every year except for 2011(we all know what happened then).
As for the tour looking at the irregular time frame (2009 in June, 2010 is in August and 2012 is in February) maybe KAT-TUN always wanted a full fledged tour for their fans. A long period of time. So they don't want to take the small dates and they are willing to wait for any available long duration to spend a long tour with their fans. Just my positive thoughts from all the things I've read ^^
Also reading magazine interview recently it is as if they're hinting about working on an album now and planning for a tour at the same time.
I thought maybe it will become like Chain where they started the concert first then release the album during it. A tight schedule not preferable as there is no time to promote but still can work.
In happier case maybe they get winter dates where they end their concert with Johnnys Countdown because before this it's always Kinki Kids. NEWS got it once why not KAT-TUN? mitai na ^^..
KAT-TUN always have an awesome stage set up so it must be really cool to use it during countdown. In a nut shell XD KAT-TUN is working their ass off. So reading some of the comments and fights between fans when everyone is worried about their sale a few days ago is just disappointing. How can you say they are lazy? and Kame is the only one who is working hard? and that Kame is only promoting his solo work on not the singles I mean come on I think even Kame will be upsets if someone said that in front of him about his members(imagine the same situation that happened to Kame about that someone who told him he will be the disappear type of Junior in front his mom you just change the dialogue to the one above and I think you can assume how he feels unless he is heartless).
So my point is I'm 100% sure all five of them are working hard right now and one thing I love about KAT-TUN they don't brag or whine about how hard they work or how tiring it was in public. They don't publish it on DVD to show how hectic their behind the scene is(they just show err stuff.. ok boring stuff but we love them anyway XD) They just do it and do it to the fullest as we all can see since they were juniors. Who are we as the one who just see them on screen maybe once a month and it was prerecorded and all their appearance publicly to judge them privately? We know how competitive they are or else they won't achieve what they have now~
All I can say is I guess keep the faith~ I'm not an old fan neither new 6 years to be exact (consecutively without hiatus to another fandom ok? XD) but I have the chance to experience the glory time of KAT-TUN when they were so famous that any artist head to head with them the fans' artist started to worry. But everything has ups and down maybe now is the down period(the ugly truth) but heads up to the up period. Look at Arashi they even break their consecutive no.1 back then (I really hope KAT-TUN don't though XD) but look where they are now~
Finally, I'm looking forward to their concert this year there are so many awesome song to be performed like EXPOSE and Face to Face! also my personal favourite FLASH! XD
I'm glad I know and a fan of KAT-TUN coz they make my life a whole lot better and exciting!
Phew~ I was only meant to talk about the concert part suddenly it became this long LOL so much for a PIECE of thoughts XD
