JOHNNY'S BOYS and MARRIAGE BAN
hOLA we meet again hehe and yay for the internet! It's so hard for me to get a decent internet connection nowadays > < and I just have to update something on my journal I mean I mean I dunno when I will be able to update after this.. ^^V
So this issue of Johnny's boys' marriage ban and Johnny's award triggered my memory of my stalking activities back in 2007/2008 while talking with aquamarina84 about why people make big fuss of Johnny's boys dating with girls. Okay before that the content of this entry will content scandalous issue so if you're not interested in this kind of thing close your eyes and scroll down as fast as you can hahahaha XD and most of the issue I will discussed is based on the newspapers article and old news from the time when it occurred and if you ask for links there's none because I found it back in 2007/2008 and my laptop has change as well as the content in it so all of my precious collection during that time is gone with the wind T__T but I'm sure if you guys try to search for it you will find it easily... and warning my memory might fails me in certain part.
Okay enough with the yapping let's get on to the business huhu. First issue is
Johnny's Boys Marriage Ban
Some of you might know some of you might not regarding the scandal cause by Takuya Kimura's marriage in 2000. When he announced his marriage it cause 4 cases of suicides and the 4 girls left suicide notes stating that they have no reason to live when their hope was betrayed (detailed news on how the suicide happened as well as pictures of the suicide note left by the girls was stated in the newspaper) and when Kimutaku's name was mentioned in the suicide note he was taken in for questioning as well as Johnny but police conclude that the 4 cases is indeed suicides and Kimutaku or Johnny's entertainment has taken no part in it. However the police did warn Johnny to do something about it in order to make sure that the same thing won't happen in the future as it will trouble the society. Thus Johnny decided to impose marriage ban to some of the individuals that consider to have the potential to cause such reaction and among the groups are SMAP, some members of TOKIO, Some members of V6, Arashi, KAT-TUN, NewS, some members of Kanjani8 and many more. Noted that the ban was imposed on the individuals which their dating scandals has cause a big frenzy among the fans and media. So with that these individuals are discourage to get married until either their popularity has subsided, they reach the passable age of marriage(for example Higashiyama Noriyuki) or they quit Johnny. All of this info I found it back in 2007/2008 some facts might have change throughout the years but I do know back in the days fans were really obsessed they even published all of the fanfictions and publication gain a huge profit from it and that's how crazy the fandom was back in the 80s and 90s so it's no wonder some of them was driven to suicides when the marriage happened.
De~ For our beloved KAT-TUN unfortunately all of the members are banned or discourage from having any marriage as media and fans went berserk when any scandals of them with some girls appear unless they are being hard headed like Kimutaku has been (Which I think they will considering their personality) huhu but personally I don't mind if KAT-TUN breaks it or anything because one I don't think the fandom is as crazy as it used to be back in the days and the boys deserve to be happy that is~
That's it I think... throughout writing this entry I was contemplating whether I should include other stuff I found like why Johnny refused to let his boys be on any award ceremony or the truth of Johnny's marketing systems but then I thought it will cause too much debate as the unfairness is evidents and all of these is based on the thesis done by this Japanese fan so I'll let it be~
