ever get the feeling your surroundings seem very familiar? every day that i that i traveled in baghdad i had this feeling. it seemed silly to me at first because nothing here reminds me of home. then it hit me when my team leader said "this place is like that damn 'third world donate money to the children' commercial that everyone feels obligated to watch when some one is around but turns it quickly when no one is with them." and he was right, i bet those kids could survive on just 32 of your pennies a month!
