MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
So after an...interesting drive from my apartment to my parents' place, which was probably the most damn fool thing I've done all year (and it's December so that's saying something)...IT'S CHRISTMAS! Wheeee~ So you know what that means, guys, it's time for the PHAT LEWT LIST.
--A pair of blue jeans. I actually got it a few days ago, 'cause you can't really tell someone's size without having them actually try pants on. So we picked up a pair of curvy boot-cut Levis and they stuck 'em under the tree for me. Might wear them to work tomorrow.
--AN IPHONE!! Knew I was gonna get this one, too. My fiancé had decided "she needs a phone...she carries her iPod touch everywhere...iPhone time." IT'S STILL AWESOME. Now I need to get a good case for it. I am so spoiled.
--Some fuzzy socks. :D I can't find any of mine, so my parents got me more.
--A six month subscription to Netflix! I had been meaning to sign us up, so my parents gave us a gift subscription and said "Now you don't have an excuse! :D "
and here's the really awesometacular thing, imho...
--A NEW SEWING MACHINE!!! Well, it's not BRAND new, it's gently used. The previous owner only used it to sew patches on his Air Force uniform, and now that he's retired he didn't need it anymore and sold it on Craigslist. Mom sent me the link, and I was like "hey, that's awesome, but I really don't have that kind of scratch right now, sadly"...so they went and bought it for Christmas! It's a Bernina, so it really is brand new if it's only seen that sort of light use. I mean, Mom's sewing machine is a Bernina and it's older than I am and has only broken down once. Now I can make more clothes for my dolls (and myself!)
So this spoiled little brat is going to go back to twiddling with her new iPhone and checking out the user manual for the sewing machine (even though it's pretty much identical to Mom's, so I know how to work it already). :D MERRY CAPSLOCKY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!
