Very sweet. It reminds me of something I just read in Love, Bourbon Street (a collection by gay writers from New Orleans about Katrina) that took place in downstate Illinois. Now I must get it from the shelf and share.

"At Danville Il I was hungry so I pulled off the highway to head into town to go to the Arby's...there was a big guy a the counter, waiting for his order. And by big, I don't mean 'mountain-sized man built like Karl Rove'; I mena big-framed and muscular, like a football player. In fact, I was admiring his well-turned calves as I walked up the counter to place my order

It frustrates me that people can't get along with people because of their differences. And I'll tell you what, especially Christians. Christians have a hard time accepting people like Adam - liberal, from L.A., looks different, maybe acts a certain way. He's a great, great guy. They don't even give him a chance. And it's frustrating because I come from that. A lot of my friends are not that way, which I appreciate, but a lot of people in Arkansas or in the South or wherever are that way. We really hope that our relationship can be an inspiration to people. I could go on about that forever.”Okay. You made me fall in love just a little bit here. Or maybe a lot

Number ONE, you're lovely for coming in and getting the stench of Idol all over you.
...there is no number two, cause these boys are ridiculously delightful, no? It's an easy sell, once people are in the door. *g*
If you haven't you really have to watch the US interview (above), question four. It really does sort of capture why I love both of them.
So now that you're in, if you have the time, you should wander over to my other Idol post, just under this one. Even if you don't feel like following the links to the performances, there are pretty pictures. :-)
Now must follow your link! (Would you believe when I clicked on it before, the screen of my laptop went BLACK? Maybe from the Awesome... I had to restart the bloody computer.) Ok, back in a sec.
OMG, such a cute vid! I loved it. Just the look on their faces when they work together -- amazing.
Did you ever see that interview sometime...last year? In either EW or TV Guide, with HL and Robert Sean Leonard. The interviewer threw the House/Wilson thing out there and RSL was a little squirmy about it, but HL walked right up and gave it a hug. He was so comfortable, having so much fun with the whole thing. I can't tell you how attractive that is to me.
On second thought, I can and I did, over drinks the other night...*g*

I think so...in the photos, they're playing with silly string? (Yeah, the H/W shippers loved *that* one, LOL!) I don't remember RSL being squirmy, but I do adore how comfortable HL is. And really--his lifelong best friend is a man who is about as gay and out as it's possible to be. So anything less wouldn't make sense. But yeah--*so* attractive. It's maturity and strength and a willingness to be open with love and affection--what's not attractive about that?
I love how they treat it on the show, too. The snark, teasing, and walking that line is such fun. The 'ship' isn't quite canon, at least not in that way, but the hoyay definitely is. It's a cute mix.
I figured you'd like the vid, and the song, too. Since it's so 'musical', I'd be surprised if someone hadn't made a K/A vid to it already.
Oh, I am all over the Kradam. In a very, very platonic sense. They're adorable together.
And I totally agree with what you said in your email. Imagine if it had been an Adam/Danny finale. Not only would it have been infuriating for Adam to come in second to someone not nearly as talented as Kris (although I still like Danny) we wouldn't have gotten the love-fest we've been treated to in the past weeks.
How awesome would it be if Kris and Adam did a duet at the concert? It probably won't happen but a girl can dream.
I'd love to hear them do the full version of this song. I think it's good for both of their voices, and they sound great in harmony.
Though stuff like this always makes me wish they'd just leave Kris alone. He's short, ok? Jeez. When they scooch him up in the video or make him stand on a box or something, it's distracting. It doesn't look like they're standing next to each other, which is what it's supposed to look like.
