Life: One

Last night, I had no words.  You guys, I just....  I felt like I'd been hit by a truck, only in some good way.  That was stunning and fantastic.

Don't come in here if you're going to argue that point with me, I'm not kidding.

This has me intrigued. Tell me more about this.

I have no definitive proof, just a bunch of impressions. Seever tells Charlie "let's go get your partner", which basically awknowledges that she's just the stand in. When he brings Charlie his bigger gun, Bobby talks to about what he's going to do if he can't bring Dani back (if memory serves.) The thing is, he kept saying "partner", but it stuck me at the time how similar the conversation would be if they were talking about Charlie's wife. I probably wouldn't have gotten that vibe from anybody else, but Bobby is Charlie's old partner and therefore should fall in the same category as Dani... but she seemed to be something more.

So you think that Amanda was taking photos of Charlie's wall, for example, to report back to Rayborn, not to implicate Charlie or to find Rayborn. I haven't thought of it that way!

Right. She was trying to pressure Charlie so that, in desperation, he'd try to smoke Rayborn out. Except Charlie doesn't act the way people expect him to act. So he never went down that road.

AND it answers those (better than any way I thought of) who were critical/dissapointed that he didn't use the "bigger gun."

Or to get really metaphorical, the Con IS Charlie's bigger gun.

Yes to all that! Great observations about Seever and Bobby and I love your take on Charlie's "gun".
