Laang Nacht der Museums
I am in Berlin.
We have gone to five of the zillion open museums, my feet are sore, my hips are making alarming clicky noises, at Brandenburg Gate the weather gods tried to drown us, I own two more jumpers than I left the house with and the only reason I hadn't got both of them on is that they won't fit, Domi fell asleep in a cathedral, we've scared the natives and the pictures are going up tomorrow because I started travelling at seven last night and have only just stopped, really.
I love just the concept of the Laang Nacht. The reality is even better. All the museums, open til 2am, with shuttles and special trains running between. I love this city, they do this twice a year. I mean, there were people dancing with fireworks. Dancing. With fireworks.
Oh god, I've been up for over 20 hours and I miss my boy.
But I have my peoples and a pretty city to explore.
