Hm. I could have sworn the site I consulted listed the Solstice as being some morning hour on the 21st at Greenwich which would make it the night before here. Shrug -- whatever. More light coming!
Yes, sets and costume for PNW Nutcracker by Sendak. Sometimes when I grab nouns, I miss the one I'm aiming for and grab one nearby. Yes, Sendak and Gorey are stored near each other in my brain.
Counting my blessings and drinking good tea yesterday *did* make me feel a lot better. And when I packed up and went outside to the car, there was blue sky! And pale watery winter sunshine! I still had an hour or so to enjoy it and so I did. I also went by a new drugstore I'd been meaning to check out where I acquired a couple of magazines and some good smelling stuff for the bath.
My lunch is now ready so I'll go eat then take a long hot sweet scented bath. After which house cleaning and laundry, but you can't win'em all.
