For kicks and giggles, I'd thought that I'd log all the stuff I read this semester for school and for fun, though, I fear the semester will be pretty bland. Therefore, I will also include movies (since I am in a film course.)
1. Brit Lit: William Blake's "Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience"
My favorite poem was "The Sick Rose." Who knew?
2. Film: His Girl Friday
An oldy but a goody. Lots of interesting areas to discuss. But that's no different than Blake.
3. Fun: The Producers
This film was fun. It wasn't the best movie of all time, but it was definitely enjoyable. I think the lesbian lighting technician was my favorite part.
4. Fun: L'auberge Espagnole
I own it and watch it as often as possible. Je l'adore!
Not much thus far into the year. No doubt more will be on the way. Comment if you agree, disagree, or want to delve further into a particular discussion. I love discussions, debates, and arguments. That's why I'm an English major.
