Lady's roll in DMC4 and this icon has never been more accurate.
So Lady only appears in the game in flashbacks and at the epilogue. Which is... less than I expected three days ago, but I was pretty shocked to learn that she would ever appear in anything again before the anime came out. So really I am tickled fucking pink that I got anything at all. And thus without further ado: Lady's two scenes. As far as I can tell, they reveal nothing about the plot other than "DANTE THE ORDER OF THE SWORD IS SKETCHY" which... if you hadn't figured that out by the fact that Dante starts off the game killing them, then you fail at plot. Oh and Also that Dante wins in the end. OK!

SHIT I LIKE
-The dialog reaming crappy. A+
-Everyone likes pizza and beer.
-"Well, from what I understand there's a lot of confusion surrounding him" "..." (THIS MEANS DANTE KNOWS NOTHING)
-Lady doesn't give a shit about your dumb religion. :|
-Lady is the only one with any idea what's going on.
-Ever.
-She tells Dante when he needs to get off his ass and kill shit.
-lol the ending POSING AND SHOUTING IN UNISON I LOVE IT.
-They never ACTUALLY show Dante being more familiar with one girl than the other. We can only assume that the answer to "Which one is he sleeping with?" must be "both of them"
-Lady knows way, WAY more about Sparda, Devil Arms and various cults than Dante does.
-I really like the presentation of Lady being Dante's "contact." While she is a hunter herself, she's matured to the point where, if there's going to be an apocalypse, she tells Dante to take care of it.
-I also like Lady as... business-minded. I think it fits with where she came from. Camp!Lady is not quite like that, and I don't intend to change her to be more like that, but it makes a lot of sense for a Lady that's isn't in a zombie camp hanging out with spandex super-heroes all day.

-Lady's boobs. Augh... look at them.... they're horrifying. IF THATS HOW MUCH HER BOOBS MOVE WHEN SHE WALKS, HOW DOES SHE KILLS SHIT WITH EXPLOSIVES?
-Actually, everything I didn't like was with the fan service treatment she got. Now, don't get me wrong. I am a whore for pinstripes and I love titties as much as the next fandom lesbian, but... I dunno. It's not even the outfit (EXCEPT FOR THE PART WHERE SHE NEEDS A FUCKING BRA) as it is just... the way she moves and the like. I think Lady is hot! I think Lady is sexy! I think Lady probably has done things with Dante that would make Dan Savage blush, but... she's just not one to lean over a table and let her boobs fall out of her shirt. And I love Trish! And Trish is a giant hobag slutwhore. But Lady is not a hobag slutwhore. They got.... so close to making her really cool. I love the shades I love the pinstripe, I love the new boots. I just wish they hadn't copped out and used her a model to show how well they can render unsupported breasts.
Please don't talk about any spoilers beyond what's in these scenes in the comments, because of the actual "plot" I've managed to stay pretty unspoiled. I'm terrible at not spoiling myself but I can dream, right.
