The wind is blasting our house right now, and the snow is blowing sideways. Cape Cod is getting walloped by a Nor’Easter, and I had to shovel a little path for our dog Sophie so she could go out in the backyard!

I’m secretly hoping for a “snow day” tomorrow… no school would be fine by me! That would get me off the hook for driving, and I would reschedule the one day a week consulting gig I have. Then I could really dive into the poetry collection I’m working on. It’s in pretty good shape, except for the one poem that is just stuck in “awful” right now. I’d love to have a few hours to spend with it tomorrow!
We did watch “Shakespeare in Love” today… thank you, Netflix! With the fire crackling in the fireplace, a pot of tea nearby, and the snow swirling outside, today ranks as a pretty perfect Sunday afternoon.

Hope you had a good one, too!
