Off to Vermont...
Tomorrow I leave for Vermont for my fourth MFA residency at Vermont College of Fine Arts. It promises to be a full ten days, packed with lectures, workshops, and more. Guest lecturers include Gregory Maguire and Holly Black! There will also be lectures by VCFA’s many wonderful faculty members, including Kathi Appelt, Julie Larios, Tim Wynne-Jones, and new faculty members An Na and Franny Billingsley.
This residency will mark the kick-off to my fourth semester. I’ll be working on a graduate lecture and revising and polishing my Creative Thesis, in preparation for my graduation in January. I’m hoping the high heat will cool off a bit in Vermont, so we can have some comfy sleeping temps in the un-air conditioned dorms!
