quite tired and quite probably not making much sense

I really need to get over this habit of 3 and 4am bedtimes; I keep telling myself I will after this week is over. Two of my best friends are leaving at the end of this week, and with small exception won't be back until after I've already left, so I am trying to get in as much time with them as possible. That said, I have felt pretty busy this week. Its only Thursday but I've managed to have some true good fun- all beach plans thus far have been crushed (hopefully Saturday holds up) because of the June Gloom. In exchange I was dragged to the fair with Le and Lina on Tuesday, and Wednesday Laura, Lina and I went down to Hillcrest (stopped by Mitsuwa on the way) and managed to stay long enough to rack up a $9.50 parking bill. Ah, California. And so much traffic. All the same, I am quite glad to be where I am. Today was great; I love shopping with those girls. Even though I was thoroughly tired today from staying up all night to see the opening showing of Batman Begins (so tired that I didn't wake up this morning to Colina's three calls on my cell and two to my house...it took Laura and Colina yelling outside my window to actually make me wake up) it managed to be a good day out and we all found great buys, and that always makes a day better.

The unpacking has not gotten done, not even in the tiniest little bit. I also haven't even looked at any German, and tomorrow will be my first day of actually hitting the gym- because I MUST. I gotta start a routine soon here or it just won't get done. I've watched a good amount of movies since I've been home: Amores Perros, Closer, Batman Begins, Lost in Translation (again) and The Motorcycle Diaries (again). And I've shown the DVD of my dance show to at least like 6 different people.

So tomorrow (today) I am going to sleep sleep sleep, get up and figure out the gym, and then Paul, Lina, Laura and Doc (if he can manage it) are coming over for Nerdy Game Night later on. And I really need to unpack. The problem with that is that I'm not just unpacking from college, I'm also unpacking from moving from the Steeple Glen house to here. So I basically need to make four piles: stuff to be gotten rid of, stuff to be put in storage (that I won't be needing in the coming years), stuff to stay in this room, and stuff to go with me to Germany.

Oh, and grades are in. This springs grades are the worst of my college career thus far- but they aren't as terrible as they could have been, so ah well. Done with that.

Summer summer summer!
