this is me in my living room this week , songwriting and singing live to camera .
in my delusion i like to think i look and sound like a child that was breast fed on lou reed,bob dylan and andy warhol.
what can a mary boy do?..
it's too cold for trawling piccadilly or shoplifting.

i think musical blogging would be a great idea,eskimolimon...
it does blow me away the age we live in....so wild that we can do all this if we like.
ten years ago i didn't even have email...and i would never have believed we'd live in such a democtratized age with all this affordable technology.
everyone's writing something everyday to someone.

i'm thinking that for your young children,because of email,they'll be more inclined to write on a daily basis..they simply have their own agenda for writing, rather than having it set for them in the shape of school homework.
this next generation,for all it's text speak ect,could be a highly literate crew altogether.
when i listen to the young ones,their vernacular already seems so much more fluid and dextrous than my generation,and i think email will have played a big part in that.

billy fields is doing well!
he goes to dog classes once a week,goes out on farms everyday with my partner...and in the evenings at home he gets nothing but love and attention,so the lovely character he's been born with is blossoming before our eyes....he's fantastic....he's outgrowing puppydom very fast...he looks funny,he's becoming all leggy at this stage....thanks for asking!...he is a real joy,and beauiful looking too.

that's a real compliment..i know how deeply you're into music sister..so i'm very glad you liked that...
it's all terribly rough with flaws i know,but i wanted to get away from my recording gear and polishing things to perfection..i want to hear myself in the raw with no sweeteners for a while.
so just to through my little digicam up and sing straight into it ,is a way of breaking out of my usual routines...
