today was perhaps the best day of my break so far!!

Tuesday I left Charleston at about 10:45 or so and got back into Georgetwon around noon. I went to my mom's school for a while and then i came home.. saw a couple of my old teachers so that was interesting i spose! hehe

Wednesday I helped make food for the big thanksgiving feast.. that's about all that was done on wednesday.. I was quite the lazy bum! I watched 13 Going on 30 TWICE YEAY! such a good movie! Mark Ruffalo is great!

Thursday, Thanksgiving Day! woo! It was great fun.. went to mass at 9am and wowed the people at mass with my singing--I filled in for my dad because he's got this uber cold and can barely talk, let alone sing. It's a Thanksgiving tradition at our church for him to sing Bless this House, so I sang it for him and people were apparently amazed. AMAZED I say! it was pretty cool.. Family came over for Thanksgiving dinner around 4ish.. my cousins Heather, Andy, and Tyler and my aunt Ruby and Uncle Irving. Good food, good conversation. Pretty cool. My little cousin Tyler, he's 5, he ate an entire jar of cherries! I hope he wasn't sick last night because he surely did em all!! hehe. After all that, I watched Singin' in the Rain with my dad..it's prolly one of my new favorite movies even though it's pretty old.

Which brings me to today.. the best part of my break so far. Not only do you have the leftovers from Thanksgiving, but I got to laugh at the thought of my crazy cousin and aunt being up in the stores by 5am to get the good deals. I got up around 9:45 and went running for a little while...nice run! Then I came back and got ready to go get my passport papers so that I can get my stuff together for my study abroad trip that I want to go on. We had a phone call just before we left.. and my mom tried to be all sneaky but it didn't work out-- I knew it was some kinda surprise for me.. but she tried to play it off like she had to give directions to the "flower delivery people". yeah right mom..

so as I was outside putting up the christmas lights, a red cherokee pulls into my driveway, and it's none other than my old soccer coach who I haven't seen in..almost 3 years. It was grreat! I heart him sooooooooooooooo much so it was AWESOME that he came to visit me! He was down for Thanksgiving at his parents house in Lugoff and came to Georgetown to see the people he hasn't seen since he moved to Pennsylvania at the end of my 11th grade year. Wow...I wish he could have stayed longer.. and that I could have talked to him longer but he had more people to see.. and he stayed at our house for about 2 hours hehe. man.. i'm still floored by it.. he came to see us first out of the people he wanted to see. It's the first time he's been back since he moved. aww..

i have no more words...
