Craptacular
Today was both good and bad. Good, because my download of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children finally came through and it was FREAKIN' AWESOME. (Larger review later, when I'm in a better frame of mind.)
Bad, because the printer and Frankie the iPod died. On the same exact day, a month out of warantee. I feel stupid to cry over a machine, but I really loved that iPod, as much as a heterosexual woman can love a tiny machine that doesn't vibrate. (That was a horrible joke.) This has been the year for me stupidly breaking/losing expensive stuff. First the cell phone, then my glasses, now the printer and iPod. Next thing I know Freddie the computer will spontaneously combust. So I can joke a little now, but I really am quite upset. My mom has kindly offered to replace the printer, which is nice, but the iPod is coming out of pocket. The state of my finances is decent, but I hate spending any money, especially since I want to conserve so I can go to Japan in the spring. *sigh* I'm getting Frankie 2 tomorrow and we'll just have to hope he has a much longer and happier life than his predecessor.
