(no subject)
I haven't felt much like updating in the past few days. Things have been pretty boring, so I opted not to waste space on everybody's friends pages. Anyway, today we drove 5 hours to the dentist, turned around and came home. "Why would you drive 5 hours to the dentist?" you ask? Because she's my aunt, and it's free. So yeah, it's annoying, but it only costs us gas/food money. It's cool though because we get special treatment. We don't have to wait in the lobby like everyone else. We get to go to the back and hang out with in aunt's and uncle's offices.
But yeah, Zak has called me everyday since he's been in Panama City. He's coming back on Saturday, but unfortunately I have to leave for ATL on Tuesday. He invited me to some program at his church on Sunday evening (Claire, will you be there?!). But afterward, we're going to eat and then to watch fireworks, so it should be fun. I'm pretty excited. . . I haven't actually been to watch fireworks in a long time... Yeah, and Monday we're going to see War of the Worlds before I go, hopefully. That's the plan anyway.
Yeah, I'm not really all that excited about going to Atlanta, but I guess it'll be ok. They recommended I bring AT LEAST $300 spending money!! That seems outrageous. I was going to bring like $100(maximum), so yeah, I guess I'll have to find out how to get money out of the bank tomorrow. The banks around here are so fucking retarded. I swear... You have to be 18 to withdraw/transfer money, even if the account is in your name. Now, yeah I'm sure that has a place in certain situations (maybe if parents don't really trust their child not to take the money and run away), but I think that parents should be able to sign a thing that says the minor can withdraw money. Even if there's a limit on how much they can withdraw, it would still work. Or if the had to call the parent/guardian... but yeah, it's just really inconvenient for me and my family because my mom works out of town 3/4 days a week, so I can never get money out of the bank... Suck...

PS Fern, I heard Delila on the radio when we were coming home this afternoon. I was like, "Did she just say DELILA!! Oh my gosh! It's the Delila that Fern was talking about!" Then I put my headphones back on... lol
