I have been thinking a lot...not about anything in particular...just thinking.
I woke up at 10 today and went to the gym with Laura. I was disappointed to find out that the upstairs was closed. The upstairs is what freaking MAKES the gym for crying out loud. It's where the treadmills, the elipticals, the bikes, and the track are located. So unforunately there was no cardio for me today. They said by Monday construction should be through, so I'm hoping to get my working out into high gear, come next week. We ended up working on abs, legs, and later went swimming. I feel so out of shape, but that will all change eventually. After our workout we went to Subway and then Laura took me to this really neat jewelry place.
I went straight to Fran's house after jewelry shopping and we all watched "The Interpreter", which I think is a pretty fine movie, if I do say so myself. Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn make a fabulous team. My next stop was home, where I took a nap. I woke up feeling refreshed and hungry. Mom made soup and I made toast. I tried to start "Breakfast at Tiffany's", but Angela came over and then Fran and Matt came to pick up Caleb so it was too noisy to hear the tv. Oh well, I can watch it tomorrow.
Anywhay, I was looking and taking the little x's survey thingy on Ashley's journal and it made me start thinking of all that I have become this year. I have changed so much and grown as a person. Maybe I had grown all along and am just realizing it, but this year has been a significant one for me. I know it sounds cliche', but I have grown up and matured this year. I feel more like an adult each day. The thing is, it's nice, but also scares the life out of me. I will probably write more about this later. For now I'm going to probably read a bit then go to bed.
