"Escape to the country"
Well, today I went to Kent with my family. It's rare for us these days to actually go somewhere, because everyone is so busy all the time, so I decided it would be a nice day out with my family. Even though it meant waking up early xD
We went to a place calles Ightham Mote - a medieval house with lots of original architecture (from 1330) and other things still in place. Then we went to Knole - a castle that used to be the residence of different dukes in 17-18th centuries. The place also had a huge garden that you could get lost in ' cause it had lots of little paths. All in all it was very fun, especially with me being a geek for medieval history :3
On our way back my dad decided to drive through some of biggest shitholes London has to offer, Croydon being the biggest one, plus it took about an hour longer. That's the last time we listen to that travel guide thingie :P
But now I'm very, very tired :O
