The Trews
Went to see The Trews again last night. $12.00 how can you beat that?? I only caught half of their set the first time and was really impressed with what I saw, so it was nice to get the whole thing this time. THey are really great live, I'm glad that Canada is still putting out good bands to replace the one's that no longer exist, like Econoline Crush and The Watchmen.
Anyway, I enjoyed myself, except that it was in "Smoking Joes Concert Garden" and it was their first show there. It's a place across from the new convention center on Rainbow Blvd. in Niagara Falls. It's an atrium, entirely made of glass, and entirely unheated. Only problem, it was -4 outside yeaterday. I can't say I've experienced a show in my hat, mittens, winter coat before... but now I can add that to my list of experiences. Besides that we went to the casino before that for the buffet and to put my $20 in the video poker machine. Good food and mmmm video poker lol :)
