(no subject)
Life..good
I just sold my thunderbird to a guy who lives around the corner from me for $850. Thank GOD! While my goal is to get my Macy's, Target, Gap and JCPenny cards paid off by the time Six Flags starts again. I owe about $200 on the Macy's, Target and Penny's cards, and $400 on the Gap, so in theory I could have the first three done with the Tbird check, but I also want to be able to buy some christmas presents and get some stuff I need for the house, so let's just say, this will be a good base to start with, putting half in savings, and learning to budget the rest...anyway that's why I moved out in the first place, to learn about life! So it looks like I do have some savings after all!
Speaking of moving out...
It is nice. I'm kinda lonely downstairs all by myself since K and Amanda mostly stay upstairs..I hope it is b/c they are still doing some settling in and unpacking and that once we are situated the main focus of the house won't be upstairs...but that is where the computer is, so that may be where the focus will be..we'll see. I just feel like I'm getting in the way when I go upstairs since i don't have my own space up there and the office space isn't set up yet.
Also, we had Twinkie there, but then amanda got sick, and we don't know if it was from the cat or from a cold (since she did carts at Target all day in the rain one day) so i had to take twinkie back to my parents house...now i'll be even more lonely without him!
I still don't have a bed...I came home today b/c i am off of work, and what do you know...once again it is damp and rainy outside..wtf! So it will be sleepy time on the couch, again.. oh well
I start my second job at Thorntons tomorrow. It will probably be boring, but I'll probably be okay with it. I bet they get a lot of people who come in everyday and I'll have regulars and we'll say hi, how's it going? is your daughter still sick with the flu? have a good day at work. Did you find the cure to cancer yet? oh, it is cold outside, i know! maybe it will snow tomorrow. do you have a penny?
Ya know, things like that. But anyway, It pays $8.00 an hour and that is a lot better than Target, so I'm gonna talk to Hr and see if I can cut my hours there to pick up more hours at Thorntons...like 40 at thorntons and parttime at Target...I'd rather be making $525 every two weeks than $350 or less at Target since they never give me 40 hours anyway.
