today started...
... another semester :) and i think, so far so good. i think that all semesters start the same way though, new notebooks and fresh pencils... ready to not skip any classes. and then a month into it, im in bed turning off my alarm and nursing a killer hangover. sweet. BUT-- this time around, i am taking classes that all count towards either my major or my minor... so i will need to use the information i learn. i like the professors ive met. and because i now work from home, i am forced to start managing my time better. maybe this semester will be the one where i meet all of my goals...
and i have a new roommate. i havent seen too much of her, as her bf lives over in tall grass. but it is bitter sweet. i love kristy, and i know living with her is going to be a blast. but i came home from class tonight to an empty apartment. no kelly belly watching cartoons on the couch, no lap tops, no alcohol to be drank or bonding to take place, and no random songs to download. no more repeat conversations, no venting about guys, no mexican hat dance, no crazy neighbors borrowing pots and looking into our window... i know new memories are to be had, but tonight, i realized that 3 years of living with my best friend has officially come to an end :(
how did this post get so sad?!
on a happier note, kelly is loving florida and i am loving that she is finally happy.
tomorrow, i have a very long day-- although at some point in this week, i think katy may be making a trip north to stay a few nights with kristy and i. sometimes a girl just needs time away with her friends.
and... i rearranged the apt. its pretty freaking cute, if i do say so myself. sexier lexi. thats what i call her now :)
and now its time for some tv and a cold beer with my other bestest friend :)
