Checking in
My dad was in the hospital last night and got another coronary stent today. He's home and doing well.
Chuck moves his office in 2 weeks and we got a lot of the fiddly bits handled about that today. Appointment for the phone lines to be installed, appointment to see about a storage room for files, sorting of clothes to be moved.
Loki's doing well. Hit a few potholes but is handling them himself. He likes the physical part of the work. Says he'd like to do more construction.
Chuck and I went out for dinner at Spice Street at University Mall in CH yesterday and enjoyed it. We'll skip the tiramisu next time. Sage still reigns supreme.
Trey's been sick so I haven't walked this week by myself because I'm just triflin'.
I lost my camera 2 days ago. I think it fell out of my purse in the parking lot at work. No one turned it in. I could do without something else and get one this weekend, but I"m punishing myself for carelessness and waiting until I can replace it without making other things tight.
We have tickets for A Chocolate Affaire fundraiser for Cornucopia House on Feb 13. I'm going to see some acrobatic cowboys at the Carolina Theater on the 15th and Nevermore is the weekend of the 18-20, when Chuck will be getting his office together.
Everything fairly quiet and then one week packed with activity.
And now I'm going to bed.
