Whisk(e)y
Scotch whisky gives me a hangover before I finish the pour. But, my honey likes it a lot. So, it has become a default gift.
I got him a bottle of Oban for a wedding present.
Others that have some into our house have been Dalmore, Dalwhinnie, Glenfiddich and Laphroaig.
He has had Balvenie Doublewood at a friend's house.
Today, we found the Whiskey Ward. They do flights. And he tasted 12 year old MacAllan (very different from others and very tasty), Cragganmore (light, similar to Glenfiddich) and Lagavulin (peaty, similar to Laphroaig.)
The plan is to go back every evening we are here to taste again.
