People are weird
I knew a guy who nagged a friend of his to give him a recipe for some dish she made that he loved.
She did and he made it.
Then, he said "You left something out of that recipe. I made it, but it didn't taste right."
She said "I wrote it down exactly how I make it. Did you cook the chicken before you put it in the bowl?"
"I didn't have chicken so I used canned tuna."
"Uh-huh. So, did you used canned peas or frozen."
"I didn't have peas so I substituted corn."
"And you wonder why it didn't taste the same?"
"Well I followed your recipe!"
She did and he made it.
