Correct weight for women

Dec 10, 2007 07:52

This was given to me in 1983 by a pathologist. It is a calculation of your correct weight based on height and age rather than insurance company charts.

I had lost the little piece of paper and it decided to show up last night.

Divide height in inches by 66. Square the result, multiply by age, add 100 = correct weight +/- 15 lbs.

I believe men get to add 2 (divide by 68 instead of 66), but I didn't make a note of that.

Edit: http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/

I expect the muscle bound get the higher range and the less active get the lower range.

note to self, storage, weight, psa
