It's not all that short - and besides, it's quality that counts, not quantity - and this was gooood! I loved Eleanor's coded message and you did further the whole "Mary's personal problem" plot point with the call from Jersey. Good job!

Checks author list and realized that self is only 1 author away from the batting plate. Yikes! Might be time to put together a quick outline of the story so far. *scurries off to reread*

*applauds* Nicely written! I love Stan/Marshall bonding. :) (And I'd like to read the story telling what happened that caused Marshall to pull a gun on Stan. lol+ I also love that Stan and Eleanor have a sneaky plan of their own in place.

A NJ #?! I really want to know what the deal is with Mary's issues.

So the mystery phone calls are originating from Jersey? Wow. And someone is poking in Mary's personnel file. Double wow. Gives me lots to work with :)

And really want to know how Marshall came to pull a gun on Stan.

That left me feeling so intense and curious! I think that it would be more appropriate to call this chapter "effective" as opposed to short. It's jam-packed with all kinds of intrigue! Well done, I say! =D

So looks like the mystery phone calls are definitely related to the Shannon family in some way. The personnel file is interesting, maybe O'Connor rearing his ugly head again.

Love the Stan and Marshall interaction.
